Youngistaan Ka WOW!

Pepsi's new Youngistaan Ka WOW campaign is being aired for quiet some time now and it's creating deep blue interest in the young minds of India! Sanjay Dutt as the Game Master looks mighty and his questions are WOW!

On the other hand, the young Ranbir Kapoor looks super cool and is one amongst us, i.e. Youngistaan!

Till now the questions have been pretty simple but just in case you were made the Game Master, what challenge would you throw to Ranbir? I thought a lot and came up with this wacky challenge where I would ask Ranbir:
  1. To stand on top of the Bandra Worli Sea Link and hold a can of Pepsi.
  2. On the word 'Go', he will have to open the can and jump from the bigger cable-stayed bridge.
  3. While being in mid-air, he has to drink his Pepsi and shout WOW three times.
  4. His Pepsi should finish before he hits the surface of the sea!
I've posted an image below of how my challenge would look like if it's actually worked out! If Ranbir does all this, he wins my challenge! :)

I'll be really happy if you can post your comment below on what you think of my original creative challenge and whether you have any better challenge for Ranbir!

This post is specially written for all maktion fans and it feels great to inform you that maktion has been nominated for Pepsi IndiBlogger of the Month (April 2010) contest. 6. Wow three times before falling on the surface is sounding very flattttttt.....all the way up just to fall....and then before hitting the surface wow wow wow......I'm sure what u're visualising the fall to be is in absolute contrast to my interpretation of ur words..I want to see the visual then maybe give u a better feedback on the fall.

  26. Pepsi's Youngistan is at a new level of high...your idea does match the dare-devil factor and the adventurous image that pepsi is trying to achieve...good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Harsh - Bunjee jumping sounds interesting. Maybe they can start full time for all too!

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Arpit - Haha, now that'll be very tough. If he stands on the boat, he's bound to fall in the river. But, then it's a challenge! WOW!

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Adwita - Thanks. I hope Pepsi sees this one so that they actually do it.

  31. good work.....very creative....but the bridge pylon is triangular in shape.....i m afraid Ranbir wud fall on d bridge itself...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Good one.. I dare ranbir do that without any help from stunt masters or masked real action men! All the best for your entry into the contest. Do check out mine :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. @Priya - A Pepsi free fall stunt! Given a chance, would you do it?

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Rohan - Interesting thought! Maybe, he'll have to jump with some upfront push and that with the direction of the wind (not on the side against it. This'll be truly WOW! haha

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Mohan - Well, if Pepsi finds substance in this, they maybe then can go for a live stunt to publicize! Phir to Ranbir ki lag gayee! haha. But, then there are a lot of digital tools which can make it possible for the tube format.
